About Daughters of the United States Army

Daughters of the United States Army (DUSA) The Society of Daughters of the United States Army (DUSA) is a National organization which was formed at Fort Benning in January 1928.

Daughters of Regular Amy Officers needed some type of society to keep in touch with their girlhood friends. If a society could be formed to keep up early friendships and to help carry on the traditions and customs of the Service, it would serve a very good purpose. There are six active Chapters. The National Headquarters is located in Washington, D.C.

The West Point Chapter of DUSA, established in 1948, is a non-profit organization whose funds given as grants and scholarships are those derived from the operation of the continuing resale activity of our gift shop located in the West Point Museum. All monies not needed for the store upkeep, employee salaries and purchasing of merchandise are returned to the West Point Community, the local community and those organizations that support the Armed Forces.

Today, the DUSA Gift Shop operates out of the West Point Museum at its location in Pershing Center. The West Point Museum has become the largest, most diversified military museum in this nation. Along with the museum, the DUSA Gift Shop has grown considerably and now offers a wide selection of military memorabilia, Army gifts and quality souvenirs of the United States Military Academy.

With heartfelt gratitude we thank you for shopping at the DUSA Gift Shop and visiting us at www.dusagiftshop.org.
